The Good news, Mamiya Universal and Portra 160

This is my first roll of the new Kodak Portra 160 and I’ll safely say its ‘Awesome’. I must get some more 120 and 35mm rolls because it looks amazing and is quite forgiving.

It was great to see the images come out since my first experiments with the Bencini Comet S have turned out so badly.

The Film Photography Project guys were right when they said is was ‘awesome’. Of course, if I had a lens hood I wouldn’t have the light streaks on the film here but I like them. If I want clean images I’ll go digital but I like these little ‘accidents’.

Even the heavy lens flares/light streaks I got on these two last shots didn’t totally wipe the images. See the rest of my Mamiya shots in my Mamiya Universal Flickr Set.

Next post, the Bencini Comet S disaster!
