The negatives are scanned and I think they look pretty alright, albeit a bit hairy. There’s also a noticeable scratch through some of the shots which I’ll assume comes from the wind-on action of the camera.
Despite there being no focus pull most of the shots appear to be in focus, mainly around the centre which I’ll assume is due to the curve of the lens. Theres a good level of detail captured here and I think colours look good too.
In all, the Halina Viceroy is a very simple camera which works brilliantly in good-excellent light and can do slightly lower light with the aid of a tripod. I have another spool to get developed from the Viceroy which was mostly taken in bright sunlight which I’m really looking forward to.
