-
Painkiller, Scud Attack: I think I got into this band because of hearing John Zorn on OLD’s ‘Lo Flux Tube’ album. Anyway, it’s an awesome sensory attack.
-
Meathooks, Love Comes In Spurts: The whole album sounds like the apocalypse but theres something about the organ at the end of this track that makes it sound like a ’70s SciFi movie.
-
Simozone, Emptiness Revisited: One of my tracks using Garage Band.
-
Venetian Snares, Einstein-Rosen Bridge: An amazing piece of programming.
-
Squarepusher, Ceephax Mix (Remix By Andy Jenkinson), A Journey To Reedham: I love the layers of percussion he gets in there.
-
Autechre, Altibzz: This is such an awesome piece. I think I’ve used it in two or more videos.
-
O.L.D, Lo Flux Tube: This whole album is very surreal. I remember being fixated on the bass guitar and the weird sax noises by John Zorn.
-
Steve Reich, Four Sections Part 4, Electronic Counterpoint – 1: Absolute genius!
-
Naked City, Osaka Bondage and Kaoru: I bought the Torture Garden album on cassette tape in 199x and it totally blew my mind.
-
John Spencer Blues Explosion: this track on this show, The Word, was truly inspirational
-
Pogo: Man, this is just amazing, ‘Alice’
-
David Farquhar: I used to be in a band with him and his brother a while ago but I do like his solo stuff (the video was by me and was deliberately filmed that badly:
